Product overview

The Power Plate 7 is a Portronics extension board aimed at desks and multi-device setups. It combines eight AC power sockets with six USB charging ports rated at 2.1A each, a 3-metre cord, an LED indicator and a copper internal build. The board is rated at 2,500 W, which covers typical computer, phone and accessory loads. Portronics lists it in black under model name "Power Plate".

Reasons to consider

• Eight sockets plus six USB ports in one strip is unusually dense for the ₹469 price point.
• A 3-metre cord gives useful reach for wall-to-desk placement.
• The MRP-to-price gap is large — other Portronics boards in the same family are advertised at higher prices.
• Instamart's quick-commerce delivery means fast doorstep delivery where the item is in stock.

Pros and cons

Pros

• 8 sockets + 6 USB ports at 2.1A output
• 2,500 W / 250 V rating and copper build
• Long 3 m cord and LED indicator
• Advertised price of ₹469 is far below the ₹1,999 MRP

Cons

• Currently marked sold out on the listing
• 2.1A USB output is basic by modern fast-charging standards
• MRP is a manufacturer's figure; the realistic street price is likely well below ₹1,999
• Instamart stock and pricing can vary by city and dark store

Buyer fit

This suits buyers who need a high-density power strip for a desk, TV unit or shared workspace — particularly those wanting USB charging built in. Because the page shows it as sold out, it is a deal worth bookmarking and re-checking rather than one you can necessarily buy right now.

Final verdict

At ₹469, the Power Plate 7 is strong value on paper for an 8-socket, 6-USB extension board from a recognised accessories brand. The catch is availability: the merchant's own page lists it as sold out, so treat this as a restock alert. If it comes back in stock near you at this price, it is a solid buy.
