Product overview

The IdeaPad Slim 3 is Lenovo's entry-level thin-and-light laptop line. This configuration pairs a Ryzen 3 processor with 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, a 15.6-inch Full HD panel, Windows 11 and bundled Office 2024, in a 1.6kg grey chassis. It is a mainstream everyday machine rather than a performance laptop — suited to web browsing, documents, streaming, video calls and light multitasking. The listing also offers an optional OneAssist one-year accidental and liquid damage protection plan at ₹1,999 as an add-on.

Why consider it

• The 512GB SSD and 8GB RAM combination is a sensible baseline for a budget Windows laptop in 2026.
• At 1.6kg with a 15.6-inch screen it stays portable for students and commuters.
• Windows 11 plus Office 2024 bundled in avoids a separate office-suite purchase for basic productivity.
• The product is in stock with free delivery shown on the listing, so availability is not the issue — only the price is in question.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Verified, in-stock listing on Amazon.in with product-bound pricing
• Balanced everyday specs: Ryzen 3, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, FHD display
• Light for a 15.6-inch laptop at 1.6kg

Cons

• The live page price of ₹49,990 is well above the advertised ₹43,250; the headline discount could not be confirmed
• Ryzen 3 with integrated Radeon 610M graphics is not suited to heavy gaming or demanding creative work
• 8GB RAM is adequate but not generous; check whether the RAM is upgradeable before buying

Who should buy it

This suits students, home users and office workers who want a dependable 15.6-inch Windows laptop for everyday tasks. It is not the right pick for gaming, video editing or heavy multitasking. If you were drawn in by the ₹43,250 figure, verify the price at checkout before ordering — the merchant page currently shows ₹49,990.

Final verdict

Worth considering only if you actually need a budget Ryzen 3 laptop and are comfortable paying the price shown on Amazon at checkout. The product itself is confirmed in stock at ₹49,990, but the advertised ₹43,250 deal price (and the 61% off figure) is not what the merchant page shows now, so treat it as a documented lead rather than a verified bargain.
