HP's 323d is a monochrome all-in-one laser printer with automatic duplex printing, rated at up to 30 pages per minute. It is a new launch on Amazon India and is currently listed as in stock. Product overview

The HP 323d is a mono laser multifunction printer aimed at home offices and small businesses that need print, scan and copy in one unit. Advertised specifications include automatic two-sided printing, print speeds up to 30 ppm, a 250-sheet input tray, a 100-sheet output tray, 256 MB of memory, an LCD display and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connectivity. It handles a range of media sizes including A4, A5, B5 (JIS), oficio and DL/C5 envelopes, and uses HP's 181A black toner cartridge, positioned as the successor to the long-running 12A toner line. One notable limitation: there is no wireless or Ethernet networking, so printing is tethered to a single PC over USB.

Reasons to consider

• Automatic duplex printing at this class of machine saves paper without manual re-feeding.
• 30 ppm is quick for a home-office mono laser in this price bracket.
• The 181A toner ecosystem keeps running costs and refill availability predictable.
• If a working coupon plus bank-card offer does bring the effective price near ₹15,499, that is a strong effective discount against the claimed MRP.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed in stock on Amazon India with a verified buy-box price of ₹17,999
• Print, scan and copy in a single compact unit
• Automatic duplex and a 250-sheet input tray suit higher-volume printing
• Fulfilled by Amazon with an identifiable third-party seller

Cons

• The advertised ₹15,499 price is not the listed price; it relies on coupon and bank discounts we could not verify, so your checkout total may be ₹17,999 or more
• The claimed ₹29,250 MRP and 47% discount could not be confirmed on the product page
• USB 2.0 only — no Wi-Fi, Ethernet or mobile printing
• Mono laser only; no colour output

Buyer fit

This suits buyers who want a straightforward, fast mono laser for documents — invoices, homework, office paperwork — and who print enough to benefit from duplex and a large paper tray. It is a poor fit if you need wireless printing, colour output or photo work. Chase the advertised ₹15,499 only if your bank card and any live coupon actually apply at checkout; otherwise budget for the confirmed ₹17,999.

Final verdict

A solid new-launch mono laser MFP for USB-connected home and small-office use, and the in-stock ₹17,999 Amazon price is confirmed. Treat the ₹15,499 figure as a best-case effective price that depends on unverified coupon and bank offers — check your final checkout total before buying, and skip it if you need wireless printing.
