At a glance

Whirlpool's Smartsense Zen TAFL 60 HAC BLDC BK HOOD — a 60cm filterless autoclean kitchen chimney with a BLDC motor and remote control — was advertised at ₹13,640 on Amazon India after applying a ₹3,000 on-page coupon, against a stated MRP of ₹39,990. The Amazon product page is live but currently shows the item as unavailable, so the advertised price could not be confirmed at checkout.

Quick facts

Product overview

This is a 60cm filterless chimney from Whirlpool's Smartsense Zen series. It pairs a BLDC motor — generally quieter and more energy-efficient than conventional induction motors — with heat-sensor-based autoclean, so the unit can trigger cleaning cycles without manual intervention. A remote control is included. Whirlpool advertises an 11-year warranty on the motor and rotor and 3 years on the PCB, claimable through Amazon's warranty-support flow. The listing carries a 4.0-star average from a small base of 10 ratings.

Reasons to consider

• The advertised ₹13,640 price after a ₹3,000 coupon would be aggressive for a BLDC autoclean chimney; a comparable Whirlpool 60cm BLDC model on the same page was shown at ₹14,490.
• Filterless design eliminates baffle-filter cleaning; the heat-sensor autoclean handles oil collection automatically.
• Long motor warranty (11 years on motor/rotor) is well above the budget-chimney norm.
• 4.0/5 rating, though from only 10 reviewers.

Pros and cons

Pros

• BLDC motor for lower noise and power draw
• Filterless autoclean reduces maintenance
• Remote control and smart heat sensing
• Strong warranty coverage

Cons

• Currently out of stock — the advertised price cannot be bought right now
• Advertised price unverified on the merchant page; no coupon checkbox is visible while unavailable
• HDFC credit-card EMI condition may restrict who sees the best effective price
• Thin review base (10 ratings)
• A similar Whirlpool BLDC chimney listed nearby costs ₹14,490 and is in stock

Buyer fit

Worth a watch-list spot if you want a 60cm filterless BLDC chimney and are in no rush — the advertised price is meaningfully below comparable in-stock models. If you need a chimney immediately, the ₹14,490 Whirlpool CGFL Pro 600 alternative on the same page is the more actionable option. HDFC cardholders should recheck the listing when stock returns, as the EMI tag suggests the best price was card-linked.

Final verdict

A good advertised price on a well-specced chimney, but currently unbuyable: the Amazon listing is out of stock and neither the ₹13,640 price nor the ₹3,000 coupon can be confirmed. Treat this as a documented lead — bookmark the page and revisit when stock returns rather than planning a purchase around it.
