Product overview

The ATH-M20x is Audio-Technica's budget entry into the M-series lineup, tuned for tracking and mixing with a relatively balanced sound signature rather than a bass-heavy consumer tuning. It uses large drivers, a closed-back over-ear design for some isolation, and a fixed cable. It is widely recommended as a first pair of studio-style headphones for home recording, monitoring, and general listening where a flatter response is preferred.

Reasons to consider

• ₹3,999 is the standard street price for the ATH-M20x in India, and the merchant page confirms it, so this is a reliable current price rather than an inflated anchor.
• Sold by Cocoblu Retail and shipped by Amazon, which keeps returns straightforward.
• The M-series is a long-running, well-reviewed line, and the M20x covers the essentials for entry-level monitoring.

Why consider it

The confirmed ₹3,999 price means you pay the normal market rate through a reliable seller rather than chasing grey imports. If you were already planning to buy entry-level studio monitors, this listing removes the guesswork — the price is verified and the item is in stock with Amazon fulfilment.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹3,999 selling price on the merchant page
• Balanced, studio-oriented tuning unusual at this price
• Reputable brand with a long track record in monitoring headphones

Cons

• Wired only; no Bluetooth or detachable cable
• Mostly plastic build, typical for the entry point of the range
• No advertised discount below the usual selling price — this is a price match rather than a special promotion

Who should buy it

A good fit for bedroom producers, podcasters, students, and listeners who want neutral-leaning wired headphones on a budget. Skip it if you need wireless connectivity, a detachable cable, or stronger noise isolation.

Buyer fit

Buy it for home recording, mixing practice, or everyday listening where wired is fine. It is not the right choice for commuting, workouts, or anyone who needs a microphone-equipped wireless headset.

Final verdict

Worth buying if you need affordable studio-style wired headphones. The ₹3,999 price is verified on Amazon.in and the item is in stock, but it is the regular price rather than a deep discount, so there is no urgency beyond needing the product.
