Quick facts

Product overview

This is a universal-fit vinyl laptop skin from Paper Plane Design, sized to cover laptops with screens up to 17 inches. The printed sheet measures 15.5 x 10.5 inches and is applied to the laptop lid as a decorative and scratch-resistant layer. Universal skins are trimmed or stretched to fit, so they will not match a specific model's contours the way a custom-cut skin would.

Reasons to consider

• At ₹45, the price is close to negligible — cheaper than most stickers, let alone a full-lid skin.
• Amazon-fulfilled, so delivery speed and returns go through Amazon's standard process.
• Fits a wide range of laptops up to 17 inches, making it workable for older or less common models.
• In stock with free delivery on eligible orders at the time of checking.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Extremely low entry price at ₹45 versus a stated ₹300 MRP.
• Amazon fulfilment and standard return policy apply.
• Universal sizing avoids model-specific compatibility issues.

Cons

• The brand rating sits at 3.6/5 from 73 ratings, suggesting mixed buyer experiences with fit, adhesive, or print quality.
• Universal skins require trimming and may not cover edges or ports cleanly.
• The stated ₹300 MRP is a list price, not a typical street price — the real saving is smaller than 85% in practical terms.

Buyer fit

This suits someone who wants a cheap cosmetic refresh for a laptop lid — a student, or anyone protecting a device from scratches without spending on a model-specific skin. Buyers who need precise fit around logos, ports, or rounded edges should look at custom-cut alternatives instead.

Final verdict

At ₹45 verified on the Amazon listing, this is a low-risk impulse buy for a basic decorative skin. The 85%-off figure flatters the deal — the ₹300 MRP is nominal — but the absolute price is still trivial. Worth picking up if you want a simple lid cover; temper expectations on finish and adhesive quality given the middling 3.6-star rating.
