Product overview

The Power Plate 6 is a multi-plug extension board from Portronics aimed at desks and entertainment units where several devices need power at once. It combines five AC sockets with four USB ports for charging phones, earbuds and accessories directly, and is rated at 2500W with a 2-metre cord. The listing also offers an optional Onsitego 1-year extended warranty add-on for ₹84, which is a separate paid plan and not part of the base price.

Reasons to consider

• Consolidates charging: four USB ports remove the need for separate wall adapters for small devices.
• 2500W rating suits typical household electronics such as TVs, routers, laptops and speakers.
• ₹649 is a competitive price for a branded multi-socket board with USB charging built in.
• Fulfilled through Amazon's usual delivery and returns machinery.

Pros and cons

Pros

• 5 sockets plus 4 USB ports in one board
• Verified ₹649 selling price, in stock
• 2-metre cord gives flexible placement

Cons

• No individual switches per socket confirmed from the observed page data
• USB output wattage per port not confirmed; fast-charging support unclear
• No MRP shown, so the real discount versus list price is unknown

Buyer fit

This suits anyone needing a single strip for a desk, TV unit or bedside setup — especially households juggling phones, laptops and small appliances. It is not the right pick for heavy appliances like heaters or irons that can exceed a shared 2500W budget, or for buyers who specifically need per-socket switches.

Final verdict

At a verified ₹649 on Amazon India, the Portronics Power Plate 6 is a reasonable buy if you need extra sockets plus USB charging in one board. Check the USB output specs and switch layout on the listing before ordering if those matter to you.
