Waterproof Silicone Sealant Adhesive for Leakage Repair Listed at ₹251 on Amazon India (Advertised 75% Off)

At a glance

A waterproof silicone sealant adhesive marketed for leak and crack repair on roofs, concrete, water tanks, metal, steel, aluminum, iron and bathroom surfaces is being advertised at ₹251 on Amazon India, against a listed MRP of ₹999 — a claimed discount of about 75%. A 40% coupon checkbox is also mentioned in the listing, which could bring the effective price lower if it applies at checkout.

Quick facts

Product overview

This is a general-purpose waterproof silicone sealant positioned as a fast-drying repair adhesive. According to the product description, it is intended for sealing cracks and stopping leaks across a wide range of household surfaces: roofing, concrete, water tanks, metal, steel, aluminum, iron and bathroom fittings. Products in this category are typically sold in a tube or small container and applied directly to the cleaned crack or joint, then left to cure into a flexible waterproof layer.

Reasons to consider

• The advertised price of ₹251 is low for a multi-surface sealant, and the claimed ~75% discount off a ₹999 MRP is substantial if it holds.
• A 40% checkbox coupon is mentioned, which — if selectable on the listing — would reduce the cost further.
• The stated use cases (roof, tank, bathroom, metal) cover the most common household leak-repair jobs in one product.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Very low advertised entry price for a waterproof repair sealant.
• Broad claimed surface compatibility reduces the need for separate products.
• Additional coupon saving may be available at checkout.

Cons

• We could not load the live Amazon page, so the ₹251 price, the coupon and stock status are unconfirmed — treat them as advertised figures.
• No brand name is clearly stated, which makes it harder to judge formulation quality or find independent reviews.
• Generic sealants vary widely in adhesion and durability; performance on structural or pressurised leaks is not guaranteed by the listing.

Buyer fit

This suits a buyer who has a minor, non-structural crack or seepage spot — a bathroom joint, a small roof fissure, a tank seam — and wants a cheap tube of waterproof sealant to try a DIY fix. It is a reasonable punt at the advertised price. It is a weaker fit if you need a certified plumbing-grade or load-bearing repair, or if you want a named brand with an established track record; in that case check the seller, brand and reviews on the product page before ordering.

Final verdict

If the ₹251 price (and the extra 40% coupon) appears on the actual Amazon listing, this is a cheap, low-risk way to tackle a small leak or crack — worth picking up if you already have a repair job waiting, but not something to buy on impulse. Because we could not verify the live price or stock, confirm the final payable amount, the coupon checkbox and the seller details on the product page before paying, and do not count on professional-grade durability from a generic, unbranded sealant.
