Quick facts

Product overview

This comforter is designed for use with an air conditioner — lightweight enough for cooled rooms but warm enough to prevent a chill. The 220 GSM microfiber fill sits in the mid-range for AC blankets: heavier than ultra-thin summer quilts but lighter than winter-grade comforters typically rated above 300 GSM. The reversible design means two colour faces (the product listing names Green, Yellow and Pink across both sides), giving you a quick style change without buying a second piece.

At 230×250 cm the comforter comfortably covers a standard Indian king/double bed and leaves enough overhang on each side for two sleepers. The 180 TC shell is a standard weave for this price bracket — functional, though not a premium sateen or percale finish.

The product is sold by ETrade Online and fulfilled directly by Amazon, so standard Amazon return and delivery policies apply.

Reasons to consider

• Price point: At ₹709 this is an accessible price for a king-size AC comforter, making it suitable for budget shoppers or a spare-bedroom purchase.
• Reversible design: Two usable faces extend the visual life of the product without extra cost.
• King size coverage: 230×250 cm covers most Indian double beds with comfortable overhang.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Verified ₹709 selling price — confirmed by Amazon buy-box
• King size (230×250 cm) suits standard double beds
• 220 GSM fill is appropriate for AC-cooled rooms
• Reversible for two colour options
• Fulfilled by Amazon with standard return window

Cons

• MRP of ₹2,999 is sourced from the listing, not independently confirmed by Amazon's own MRP field — the effective discount cannot be guaranteed
• VAS COLLECTIONS is a smaller, less-established brand; long-term durability and after-sales support are unproven
• 180 TC shell is functional but not a premium finish
• No customer review count or rating data was available at the time of research to gauge real-world quality
• Colour rendering in person may differ from listing images

Buyer fit

This comforter suits buyers who want an affordable, immediately available king-size AC quilt for a double bed and are comfortable purchasing from a lesser-known brand via a reputable fulfilment channel. It is a good fit for a spare bedroom, a hostel room, or anyone replacing a worn-out summer quilt without a large budget. If you are looking for a premium, well-reviewed comforter with a known brand guarantee, you may want to compare alternatives at a higher price point. The lack of visible ratings data means you are taking a small leap of faith on quality.

Final verdict

At ₹709 — a price confirmed by the Amazon buy-box — this VAS COLLECTIONS king-size AC comforter represents solid value for a budget buyer. The 220 GSM microfiber fill and 230×250 cm dimensions are appropriate for the use case, and Amazon fulfilment removes logistics risk. The main uncertainty is the brand's track record and the unconfirmed MRP figure, which makes the advertised discount hard to validate independently. If you need an AC-season comforter for a double bed and ₹709 fits your budget, this is worth adding to your cart — just check the current reviews on the product page before you buy.
