USHA AquaBuddy Neo 25L 5-Star Storage Geyser Listed at ₹5,999 on Amazon

At a glance

The USHA AquaBuddy Neo is a 25-litre, 5-star BEE-rated storage water heater listed on Amazon India, and it is currently being advertised at ₹5,999. Important caveat: the ₹5,999 figure is the advertised price — Amazon's product page loaded for us but did not expose a confirmed selling price, and the page itself carried a "price higher than typical" notice, suggesting better prices may have been seen recently from other sellers.

Quick facts

Product overview

The AquaBuddy Neo is a wall-mounted storage water heater aimed at households that want a larger tank for consecutive showers or mixed kitchen-bathroom use. According to the Amazon listing, it uses a copper heating element, carries a 5-star BEE energy rating and includes anti-rust protection for the tank. Warranty coverage is listed as eight years on the tank and two years on the product itself. The listing currently shows a 3.9 out of 5 rating from a small base of 24 reviews.

Reasons to consider

• 25 litres is a practical size for a small family needing back-to-back hot water.
• A copper heating element is generally faster to heat and more durable than basic alternatives.
• The 8-year tank warranty is longer than several similarly priced rivals — the POLYCAB Superia DLX, shown at ₹8,029 on the same page, offers a 7-year tank warranty.
• The 5-star BEE rating should keep running costs lower than lower-rated models.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Large 25-litre capacity with a strong tank warranty.
• 5-star BEE efficiency rating.
• Copper heating element and anti-rust protection.

Cons

• The advertised ₹5,999 price could not be confirmed on the merchant page, and Amazon flagged the current price as higher than typical for this item.
• Small review base (24 ratings, 3.9/5) makes long-term reliability harder to judge.
• Comparable 25-litre 5-star geysers from POLYCAB and Faber sit around ₹8,000–₹8,600, so "good deal" status depends entirely on whether ₹5,999 is actually live.

Buyer fit

This suits buyers looking for a mid-to-large storage geyser from an established Indian appliance brand, especially if the advertised price is live at checkout. If you are sensitive to price, it is worth comparing against the POLYCAB Superia DLX (₹8,029) and Faber Helios (₹8,599) alternatives Amazon surfaces on the same page — both are 25-litre 5-star models.

Final verdict

The USHA AquaBuddy Neo is a reasonable spec for the money at an advertised ₹5,999 — well under comparable 25-litre 5-star geysers — but the price is unconfirmed and Amazon itself notes the current price is higher than typical for this product. Check the live price and seller on the product page before buying; if it shows near ₹5,999 it is a solid buy, but if it has drifted toward the ₹8,000 range the alternatives are competitive.
