Product overview

The ASUS WT300 is a budget wireless mouse built around a 2.4GHz USB nano dongle connection. ASUS advertises an ambidextrous shape suited to both left- and right-handed users, a compact and lightweight body, adjustable sensitivity up to 1600 DPI, and battery life of up to 15 months. It is positioned as an everyday productivity mouse rather than a gaming or specialist peripheral.

Reasons to consider

• ₹399 is a genuinely low price for a branded wireless mouse — this model was listed at ₹549 in recent weeks, so the current price undercuts even previous deal pricing.
• Ambidextrous design works for left- and right-handed users, which is uncommon at this price.
• Up to 15 months of claimed battery life means low running hassle.
• Compact size suits travel and laptop bags.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Verified ₹399 selling price on Amazon India
• Branded ASUS peripheral at entry-level pricing
• Ambidextrous ergonomic shape
• Long claimed battery life and simple plug-and-play dongle setup

Cons

• The ~73% discount is against an advertised MRP we could not verify on the listing; real-world street prices for this model have been higher but lower than ₹1,499.
• Basic feature set — no Bluetooth, no rechargeable battery, no silent clicks advertised.
• Up to 1600 DPI is fine for office work but limited for gaming or precision tasks.

Buyer fit

A sensible buy for anyone needing a cheap, dependable wireless mouse for everyday browsing, office work or study — especially students or users equipping a secondary machine. Gamers or users wanting Bluetooth/rechargeable options should look elsewhere.

Final verdict

At a verified ₹399, the ASUS WT300 is a solid value wireless mouse and below its recent deal prices. Worth buying if you need a basic everyday mouse; just don't treat the ₹1,499 MRP as a real-world reference price.
