Samsung IC050 Type-C Earphones (Black) on Amazon India — Advertised at ₹409, Currently Listed at ₹677

At a glance

Samsung's original IC050 Type-C wired earphones in black are listed on Amazon India at ₹677, down from an M.R.P. of ₹1,099 (about 38% off). Important caveat: the price was advertised at ₹409, but Amazon's own product page currently shows ₹677 — a significant gap, so treat the lower figure as unverified and possibly outdated.

Product overview

The Samsung IC050 is a wired in-ear earphone that connects over USB Type-C rather than a 3.5mm jack, making it a practical pick for phones that have dropped the headphone port. It is an original Samsung accessory — the kind typically bundled with Galaxy devices — sold here as a standalone item. The listing is fulfilled by Amazon and sold by a third-party seller named UNIQUE FREEDOM, with other sellers offering the same model from around ₹670.

Reasons to consider

• Type-C wired earphones avoid Bluetooth pairing and charging entirely — plug in and they work.
• At ₹677 against a ₹1,099 M.R.P., the listed discount of roughly 38% is real on the merchant page.
• Amazon fulfilment means standard delivery, returns and payment protection apply.
• In-stock status with same/next-day delivery options shown for eligible pincodes.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Genuine Samsung-branded Type-C earphones at a modest listed price.
• No battery or pairing hassles; works with any USB-C device that supports audio output.
• Amazon-fulfilled order with secure transaction handling.

Cons

• The advertised ₹409 price is not what the merchant page shows — the real current price is ₹677.
• A mediocre 3.4-star rating across roughly 2,035 ratings suggests mixed buyer experiences on sound, fit or durability.
• Sold by a third-party seller (UNIQUE FREEDOM), not directly by Samsung or Amazon Retail.
• Type-C earphones only work with devices that output audio over USB-C; check compatibility.

Buyer fit

This suits Android users whose phones lack a headphone jack and who want a cheap, no-fuss wired option from a recognisable brand. It is less appealing if you expected the advertised ₹409 price — at ₹677 it competes with Amazon Basics and other budget Type-C earphones in the same range. Buyers who prioritise audio quality should weigh the modest 3.4-star rating.

Final verdict

A reasonable budget buy if you specifically want Samsung-branded Type-C earphones and can accept ₹677 — but go in knowing the advertised ₹409 price could not be confirmed, and the average rating is lukewarm. Worth it only if you need wired Type-C earphones now; otherwise compare alternatives in a similar budget bracket first.
