Quick facts

Product overview

The Hindware Essence is a 60 cm wall-mounted kitchen chimney aimed at standard Indian cooktops. It pairs a 1350 CMH suction rating with an inclined glass finish, filterless operation and thermal auto-clean, which heats the interior to loosen grease into a collection tray instead of relying on baffle or cassette filters. Controls are handled by a touch panel with a motion sensor for gesture operation. Hindware covers the motor for 10 years and the product for 2 years. The listing is fulfilled by Amazon and sold by Dawntech Electronics Private Limited.

Reasons to consider

• ₹10,290 is a competitive street price for a filterless auto-clean chimney from an established brand; comparable 60 cm auto-clean models from mainstream brands typically retail above this mark.
• 1350 CMH suction is adequate for daily Indian cooking, including frying.
• Filterless design plus thermal auto-clean reduces routine maintenance versus baffle-filter chimneys.
• Motion-sensor gesture control is a feature usually found on pricier models.
• 10-year motor warranty is above the segment norm.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Verified ₹10,290 selling price on the merchant page
• Filterless, auto-clean design lowers upkeep
• Strong warranty cover on the motor
• Amazon-fulfilled listing with scheduled delivery

Cons

• The advertised 74% discount could not be verified; no explicit MRP was shown on the page at check time
• Only 2 units left in stock when checked, so the price may not last
• Seller is a third party, though fulfilment is by Amazon
• An extended-warranty add-on (₹375) is offered at checkout and is optional, not part of the base price

Buyer fit

This suits a household replacing or installing a 60 cm chimney for a standard 3-4 burner cooktop and wanting auto-clean convenience and gesture controls at a budget-friendly price. It is a weaker fit if you need a larger 90 cm unit for a wide hob, prefer a ductless setup, or want confirmed free installation; check installation terms for your pincode before ordering.

Final verdict

Worth buying if you need a 60 cm auto-clean chimney now. The ₹10,290 price is confirmed on the merchant page and is sharp for this spec sheet. Do not anchor on the advertised 74% figure, verify installation terms for your pincode, and move quickly given the limited stock observed.
