Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 (Core 5, 16GB/512GB) on Amazon — Advertised at ₹70,990, Listed at ₹82,990

At a glance

Amazon India lists the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Smartchoice (2026) — Intel Core 5 320, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 15.3-inch WUXGA IPS — at ₹82,990, in stock. It was advertised at ₹70,990, a figure the merchant page does not currently show. A promoted SBI credit card offer (₹12,000 off on EMI, ₹10,250 off non-EMI) could not be confirmed on the product page at check time, so treat it as unverified until the offer appears at checkout.

Product overview

The IdeaPad Slim 3 Smartchoice is Lenovo's mainstream 15-inch thin-and-light. This 83RR00MRIN configuration pairs an Intel Core 5 320 processor with 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD, a 15.3-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) IPS panel, backlit keyboard, and bundled Microsoft Office 2024 — a reasonable everyday spec for office work, study, and browsing at 1.6kg.

Reasons to consider

• 16GB RAM and a current-gen Core 5 at this tier is a sensible everyday configuration.
• Office 2024 included saves a separate licence purchase.
• If the advertised SBI card discount applies to your card at checkout, the effective price would be meaningfully lower than the listed ₹82,990.

Pros and cons

Pros: Solid RAM/storage pairing; IPS 16:10 display; light for a 15-inch; Office bundled; in stock at check time.

Cons: The observed ₹82,990 listing does not match the advertised ₹70,990; the SBI card offer was not visible on the product page and may be account-, tenure- or stock-dependent; integrated-graphics class machine, not for heavy gaming.

Buyer fit

Suits students and office users wanting a current, light 15-inch Windows laptop with Office included. SBI credit card holders should check the offer on their account at checkout before counting the discount.

Final verdict

The laptop itself is verified on Amazon at ₹82,990 — not the ₹70,990 advertised. Only buy if the SBI card discount (₹10,250 non-EMI / ₹12,000 EMI) actually shows for your card; otherwise wait for a price drop.
