Product overview

The Haier HRS-682SWDU1 is a 596-litre frost-free side-by-side refrigerator aimed at large households, with 392 L of fresh-food space and a 204 L freezer. It carries a 3-star energy rating, an inverter compressor (marketed as Expert Inverter with Smart Sense AI), and an inbuilt water dispenser. Interior fittings include toughened adjustable glass shelves (3 shelves, 2 drawers), a large vegetable box, an anti-bacterial gasket, and Deo Fresh technology. Warranty is stated as 1 year on the product and 10 years on the compressor. Amazon's listing also offers an exchange option and an optional Acko extended-warranty add-on.

Reasons to consider

• 596 L capacity suits families of five or more; side-by-side layout separates freezer and fresh food.
• Inbuilt water dispenser without plumbing-style pricing typical of premium French-door models.
• Inverter compressor with a 10-year compressor warranty lowers long-term running risk.
• If the advertised ₹64,990 holds, it is a steep cut from the ₹1,21,890 MRP for this capacity class.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Large 596 L total capacity (392 L fridge, 204 L freezer)
• Frost-free with auto defrost
• Inbuilt water dispenser and anti-bacterial gasket
• 3-star energy rating with inverter compressor
• 1-year product / 10-year compressor warranty

Cons

• The ₹64,990 offer price could not be verified on the Amazon page — confirm before checkout
• Only a 3-star energy rating; larger side-by-sides still consume meaningful power
• Extra ₹12,500-off headline lacks disclosed conditions (bank offer, coupon or event pricing unclear)
• Deal is advertised as live from 8 October, so pricing may change at launch
• Big appliance: check dimensions, door swing and delivery/installation terms for your home

Buyer fit

This is aimed at large families upgrading to a high-capacity side-by-side refrigerator with a water dispenser at a mid-range price. It fits buyers who value capacity and the dispenser over a higher energy rating, and who can verify the final price and any bank/coupon conditions on Amazon at checkout. Skip it if you need a compact fridge, a 4- or 5-star rating, or guaranteed pricing before the advertised live date.

Final verdict

A solid large-capacity refrigerator at an aggressive advertised price — but the ₹64,990 figure and extra ₹12,500 off are not confirmed on the merchant page, and the deal is slated to go live on 8 October. Worth buying at or near ₹64,990 if you need a 596 L side-by-side; verify the live Amazon price and any offer conditions first.
