Product overview

This is an everyday men's slipper with a casual slider design. Amazon's listing highlights a FOAM6 6mm foam upper, a Powergrip footbed for cushioning and support, breathable ventilation holes, lightweight construction and an anti-skid sole. The product title also uses the terms “orthopedic” and “Footpharma footbed,” but the available evidence does not establish a clinical orthopedic benefit.

The observed page showed the item as in stock and fulfilled by Amazon at the time checked. Colour and size are variant-sensitive: the page displayed Grey and offered UK sizes 6–11, so buyers should verify that the selected option matches the desired colour and fit before paying.

Reasons to consider

At ₹149, this is a low-cost option for basic casual or home use if the listing remains available at that price. The ventilation-hole design may appeal in warm weather, while the stated foam upper and footbed are intended to provide cushioning. Amazon also showed free delivery and a 10-day return or exchange window in the observed listing, though checkout eligibility can vary.

The main reason to pause is value context: the displayed M.R.P. was only ₹149.25, so the visible price is not a meaningful discount against that reference price. The available rating information was not independently validated in the evidence used for this review, and the listing does not provide enough evidence to guarantee durability, grip or orthopedic support.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Very low listed purchase price of ₹149.
• Ventilation holes and a lightweight slider design may suit casual use.
• Sizes 6–11 UK were shown on the observed page.
• Amazon listing showed a 10-day return and exchange period.

Cons

• The displayed M.R.P. of ₹149.25 means the visible saving is negligible.
• Colour information is potentially confusing: the title says Black Drift while the displayed variant was Grey.
• “Orthopedic” and footbed comfort claims are not independently verified.
• Price, stock and variant availability can change by account, location and selection.

Buyer fit

This deal may suit a buyer who wants inexpensive casual slippers and is comfortable checking the exact colour, size and seller details at checkout. It is less suitable for someone seeking medically supportive footwear, premium durability or a clearly substantial discount. Buyers with foot pain should not treat the orthopedic wording as a substitute for professional advice, and should review fit and return terms before ordering.

Final verdict

At ₹149, the CHUPPS Vertex Black Drift is worth considering as a budget everyday slipper, but not because it represents a large markdown. The minimal difference from the displayed M.R.P. and the colour mismatch make careful checkout verification important. Buy only if the selected size and colour are right for you and the price remains ₹149; expectations should stay at basic casual footwear rather than proven orthopedic support.
