Flipkart: VEGA Turbolite Beard Trimmer at ₹499 (MRP ₹999), Advertised at ₹449 With 25 SuperCoins

At a glance

The VEGA Turbolite Beard Trimmer is listed on Flipkart at ₹499 against a ₹999 MRP — a stated 50% discount. An advertised claim suggests buyers can apply 25 SuperCoins for ₹100 off, bringing the effective price to ₹449, but that redemption could not be verified on the merchant page — treat ₹449 as advertised, not confirmed. The seller shown is MYTHANGLORYRetail (4.3 rating, about 4 years on Flipkart), with delivery quoted around 20 October and a no-returns policy.

Quick facts

Product overview

The VEGA Turbolite is a corded-and-cordless beard trimmer aimed at men. Per the Flipkart listing it offers a 90-minute runtime on a 1.5-hour charge, 40 length settings across a 0.5–20 mm trimming range, stainless steel blades, a washable head and IPX-1 water resistance. The box includes the trimmer, two comb attachments, lubricating oil, a user manual and a warranty card. The listing shows roughly 11,924 ratings with a 4-star average.

Reasons to consider

• At ₹499 the page price is already half the stated ₹999 MRP, so even without SuperCoins the listed discount is substantial for a branded trimmer.
• If the advertised 25-SuperCoins redemption works on your account, the effective ₹449 is a genuinely low price for this spec sheet.
• 40 length settings and a 0.5–20 mm range is unusually flexible at this price point.
• Washable head and corded/cordless use make it practical for daily grooming.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Listed at 50% off MRP on the merchant page.
• Long 90-minute runtime and quick 1.5-hour charge.
• Wide trimming range suits stubble through short beard styles.

Cons

• The ₹449 effective price depends on having 25 SuperCoins and an applicable redemption — not verified on the page.
• No-returns policy on this listing; only a 1-year warranty applies.
• A ₹26 Protect Promise Fee is added at checkout, so real cost is slightly above the headline price.
• IPX-1 is only splash resistance, not full waterproofing.

Buyer fit

This suits buyers who want a basic, adjustable beard trimmer from a known Indian grooming brand and who already hold Flipkart SuperCoins. If you have no SuperCoins, the ₹499 listed price is still reasonable; if you need a fully waterproof or returnable product, look elsewhere.

Final verdict

The merchant page confirms the VEGA Turbolite at ₹499, and the extra ₹100 off via SuperCoins bringing it to ₹449 is plausible but unverified. Worth buying at ₹499 if you need a budget trimmer — treat ₹449 as a bonus if your SuperCoins apply, and check the seller's no-returns terms before ordering.
