Flipkart: Reo by Havells Unnovate BLDC 1200 mm Ceiling Fan Listed at ₹1,959 After ₹490 Coupon

At a glance

A Reo by Havells Unnovate 1200 mm BLDC ceiling fan is listed on Flipkart at ₹2,449, with a ₹490-off coupon that brings the advertised effective price to ₹1,959 — matching the advertised figure of ₹1,959. The catch: the selected Cocoa Brown colour shows out of stock at the time of checking, and the selling price could not be independently confirmed against live checkout pricing. Treat this as a documented lead worth revisiting, not a confirmed bargain.

Product overview

The Unnovate is a BLDC-motor ceiling fan from Reo by Havells, a budget-oriented line under the Havells umbrella. BLDC motors are the main draw here: they typically consume considerably less power than conventional induction-motor fans and run quieter. This model adds a remote control, a timer setting, a reverse rotation mode (useful for circulating warm air in winter), and low-noise operation, all backed by a 2-year warranty. The box includes the fan, remote and user manual.

Reasons to consider

• Energy savings: BLDC fans commonly use far less power than conventional induction fans, which adds up on electricity bills over years of daily use.
• Remote convenience: Speed, timer and reverse mode controlled from a remote, so no regulator wiring changes needed.
• Advertised price: An effective ₹1,959 after the ₹490 coupon would be aggressive pricing for a BLDC fan — comparable Crompton models shown alongside it on the same page list between ₹1,663 and ₹4,019.
• Brand backing: Reo is positioned under Havells, which generally means wider service coverage than unbranded alternatives.

Pros and cons

Pros

• BLDC motor with remote, timer and reverse rotation
• 2-year warranty and 10-day replacement policy
• Advertised effective price under ₹2,000 is strong for the feature set
• 4.2 rating across a few thousand buyers

Cons

• The selected Cocoa Brown variant is out of stock
• Selling price not independently verified; coupon and final checkout amount may vary
• ₹36 Protect Promise fee and possible delivery charges raise the real total
• Seller rating (4.1) is decent but not exceptional

Buyer fit

This suits buyers upgrading a bedroom or living room fan who want lower power bills and remote convenience without paying premium BLDC-fan prices. It is less suitable if you need a fan immediately — the out-of-stock state means you will be waiting for a restock or picking another colour at possibly a different price.

Final verdict

On paper, ₹1,959 for a remote-controlled BLDC ceiling fan is a genuinely good price, and the feature list is competitive for the segment. However, the key variant is out of stock and the price remains advertised rather than merchant-confirmed, so there is nothing to buy right now. If you are in the market for a budget BLDC fan, this is worth bookmarking and rechecking — verify the coupon applies and the colour you want is in stock before committing.
