Product overview

The Galaxy Watch8 is Samsung's 2025 flagship Wear OS smartwatch. This listing is the 44mm Bluetooth (non-LTE) model in Graphite. Headline hardware includes a 3nm Exynos processor, dual-band GPS for more accurate outdoor tracking, a sapphire crystal display over an Armor Aluminum case, and 5ATM water resistance with IP68 dust protection. On the health side it carries Samsung's full sensor stack: blood pressure and ECG (which require a paired Samsung phone and the Samsung Health Monitor app, plus periodic calibration for BP), irregular heart rhythm notifications, vascular load tracking during sleep, and the newer antioxidant index measurement.

Reasons to consider

• ₹20,499 is a genuinely aggressive price for Samsung's current-generation flagship watch; this same model was listed at ₹21,999 in late September, so this is the lowest we've tracked.
• Dual GPS and sapphire glass are features typically reserved for pricier watches.
• Strong fit for Samsung phone owners — BP, ECG and the deeper health features are designed for the Galaxy ecosystem.
• Solid water and dust ratings make it suitable for swimming and daily wear.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹20,499 selling price, in stock
• Flagship health sensor suite (ECG, BP, IHRN, vascular load, antioxidant index)
• Dual-band GPS and durable sapphire/Armor Aluminum build
• Advertised at ~51% below MRP, and below the ₹21,999 price we saw previously

Cons

• Bluetooth-only variant — no standalone LTE calling or data
• Several health features are gated behind a Samsung phone and regional regulatory approval; verify ECG/BP availability for your setup
• Wear OS battery life is typically around a day to a day-and-a-half, not multi-day
• The 51% figure is the advertised discount; the exact MRP shown can vary

Buyer fit

Best suited to Android users — especially Samsung Galaxy phone owners — who want the fullest version of Samsung's health tracking. iPhone users should skip it entirely; Wear OS watches don't pair with iOS. If you need LTE independence, look at the LTE variant instead of this Bluetooth model.

Final verdict

At ₹20,499 confirmed on the product page, this is the strongest price we've seen for the Galaxy Watch8 44mm and an improvement over the ₹21,999 listings from late September. If you're already in the Samsung ecosystem and were waiting for a dip, this is worth buying. Just go in knowing the health features work best with a Samsung phone and that battery life is the usual Wear OS trade-off.
