Product overview

The LONGWAY Zephyr is a 1200 mm ceiling fan built around a BLDC (brushless DC) motor, a design that typically consumes substantially less power than conventional induction-motor fans. The listing highlights a BEE 5 Star energy-efficiency rating, remote-control operation (which usually means speed settings and a timer without a wall regulator), an anti-dust coating on the blades, and a 3-year warranty. The observed variant is a single white unit sold by RetailEZ Pvt Ltd on Amazon.in.

BLDC fans in this price band are popular in India because they can cut fan electricity use roughly in half and run quietly, which matters for bedrooms and long daily run-times.

Reasons to consider

• BLDC motor with a claimed BEE 5 Star rating at under ₹2,000 is aggressive pricing — most branded BLDC fans retail higher.
• Remote control removes the need for a separate regulator and enables timer/sleep functions.
• A 3-year warranty (per the listing title) is longer than the 2 years common at this price.
• The merchant page confirms the ₹1,999 selling price and in-stock status.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Verified ₹1,999 price on Amazon.in for a BLDC, remote-controlled fan
• Energy-efficient motor should lower running costs over a standard fan
• Anti-dust blade coating reduces cleaning frequency
• 3-year warranty stated on the listing

Cons

• The advertised "65% off" could not be verified — no MRP is shown on the product page
• LONGWAY is a budget brand; long-term reliability and service reach are less proven than premium rivals
• Sold by a third-party seller, so check delivery estimates and return terms at checkout

Buyer fit

This suits buyers wanting an energy-efficient, remote-controlled ceiling fan on a tight budget — particularly for bedrooms where quiet BLDC operation helps. Buyers who prioritise established brand service networks or verified discount depth may prefer comparing against better-known BLDC brands before committing.

Final verdict

At a confirmed ₹1,999, this is a strong price for a BEE 5 Star BLDC fan with remote and a stated 3-year warranty. Treat the "65% off" figure as unverified advertising rather than a measured discount. If you already need a ceiling fan and are comfortable with a budget brand sold by a third-party seller, the verified price makes this worth considering; otherwise compare branded BLDC alternatives before buying.
