Product overview

This is a budget rechargeable desk lamp sold under the SaleOn brand on Amazon India. The listing describes an LED lamp with a foldable design, a 1200mAh built-in battery, five brightness steps and three colour temperature modes, along with a memory function that recalls the last setting. It charges over USB Type-C and is marketed for students, office desks and bedside reading, with an eye-protection claim typical of this category.

Reasons to consider

• At the advertised ₹309, it is a very low-cost entry into rechargeable desk lamps.
• USB Type-C charging is convenient — no proprietary adapter needed.
• Five brightness levels plus three colour modes give flexibility for reading versus ambient use.
• The rechargeable battery means it works during power cuts or away from a socket.
• The advertised 6-month warranty offers some cover on a budget item.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Very low advertised price
• Rechargeable with USB Type-C
• Multiple brightness and colour modes
• Foldable, portable design

Cons

• ₹309 price could not be verified on the live Amazon page — it may have changed
• 1200mAh battery is modest; expect limited runtime at higher brightness
• SaleOn is a budget brand; build quality and longevity are uncertain
• Eye-protection claim is a marketing statement, not a certified standard

Buyer fit

Worth considering if you need a cheap, portable reading or study lamp and are comfortable with a lesser-known brand. Students, hostel residents, or anyone wanting a backup light for power outages are the natural audience. If you need long battery life or a recognised brand warranty, a pricier option may suit better.

Final verdict

An inexpensive rechargeable desk lamp with a sensible feature set. The ₹309 advertised price is attractive but unconfirmed on the live listing — check the current price on Amazon before ordering. If it is still available near the advertised figure with the advertised warranty, it is a reasonable low-risk buy for basic desk and reading use.
