Product overview

The Bajaj MX 2 Neo is an entry-level steam iron aimed at everyday household ironing. The listing highlights a 1250W heating element, multiple steam functions, a non-stick soleplate for smoother gliding, adjustable temperature control for different fabrics, an ergonomic grip and anti-drip protection to reduce water spotting on clothes. It carries a one-year warranty. The Amazon page also offers an optional Onsitego two-year extended warranty add-on for ₹169, which begins after the manufacturer warranty ends and is subject to Onsitego's own terms.

Reasons to consider

• The ₹1,175 price is confirmed directly on the Amazon product page, not just advertised elsewhere.
• Bajaj is an established Indian small-appliance brand, so service support is generally accessible.
• Steam functions plus anti-drip protection are useful at this price point, where many irons are dry-only.
• Amazon fulfilment means standard delivery and returns handling through Amazon.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Verified ₹1,175 selling price with the item in stock
• Non-stick soleplate and adjustable temperature for fabric flexibility
• Anti-drip protection helps avoid water marks
• 1-year warranty, with an optional paid extended warranty

Cons

• 1250W is on the lower end for steam irons; heavier fabrics may need more passes
• No advertised discount or MRP comparison on the page, so it is unclear how strong a "deal" this is versus the usual street price
• Sold by a third-party seller (RetailEZ), though fulfilled by Amazon

Buyer fit

This suits shoppers who need an inexpensive, branded steam iron for routine household use and were already planning to buy one. If you iron heavy denim or linens frequently, a higher-wattage model may serve you better. Buyers who already own a working iron gain little here, since no limited-time discount or coupon is documented.

Final verdict

The ₹1,175 price is verified on the Amazon product page and the iron is in stock, but no list price or discount is shown, so treat this as a fair price on a budget Bajaj steam iron rather than a deep markdown. Worth buying if you need a basic steam iron now; otherwise worth comparing against similar Bajaj and Philips models in the same range.
