EGATE Duster 6X Native 1080p 4K Projector at ₹12,990 on Amazon — 57% Off Claimed

At a glance

The EGATE Duster 6X is a native 1080p (4K-supported) Android projector listed on Amazon.in at ₹12,990. The seller-side listing claims this is 57% off an MRP of ₹30,000, though Amazon's own product page does not display that MRP, so the discount figure comes from the deal source, not verified strike-through pricing.

Product overview

The Duster 6X positions itself as a home-theatre projector with native 1080p resolution and 4K content support, aimed at buyers wanting a big-screen Android smart experience without a separate streaming stick. It advertises 1200 ANSI Lumens of brightness, HDR+HLG support, and built-in apps for Netflix, Prime Video and live TV, along with WiFi6 and Bluetooth connectivity and an HDMI-ARC port for soundbar pairing. The dust-proof claim targets long-term optical clarity, a common pain point with budget projectors.

Reasons to consider

• Native 1080p panel is a genuine step up from many budget projectors that only claim 1080p via upscaling.
• Built-in Android smart platform with major streaming apps reduces the need for an external streaming device.
• WiFi6 and Bluetooth support modern home networking and audio pairing.
• The ₹12,990 selling price is confirmed directly from Amazon's buy box at the time of this review.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• Confirmed current price of ₹12,990 on Amazon
• Native 1080p with 4K HDR content support
• Integrated streaming apps and WiFi6/Bluetooth
• Sold and fulfilled via Amazon's standard logistics (Clicktech Retail)

Cons:

• The ₹30,000 MRP and 57% discount figure is only the deal advertised claim; Amazon's own listing does not display this MRP, so the actual size of the discount cannot be independently confirmed.
• 1200 ANSI Lumens is modest for a brightly lit room; best used in low-light or dark settings.
• Projector picture quality, lamp life and build durability are manufacturer/seller claims not independently tested here.

Buyer fit

This suits buyers wanting an affordable home-theatre style projector for movie nights or casual streaming in a dim room, who value an all-in-one Android smart experience over a bare-bones projector. Buyers needing projection in bright rooms, or who need guaranteed long-term reliability backed by extensive independent reviews, should treat the brightness and discount claims cautiously and check current reviews on the product page before buying.

Final verdict

The ₹12,990 price is confirmed directly from Amazon's buy box, making this a reasonably priced native 1080p Android projector on paper. However, the headline 57% discount and ₹30,000 MRP are unverified claims from the deal listing, not from Amazon's own page, so treat the "massive discount" framing with some skepticism. If the spec set (native 1080p, Android apps, WiFi6) matches your needs and the current in-stock price holds at checkout, it's a reasonable buy for casual home viewing — just verify the final price and MRP yourself before purchasing.
