Product overview

The Meta Ray-Ban Gen 1 is the first-generation model of Meta's smart glasses built with Ray-Ban. It pairs a 12MP ultra-wide camera for photos and video with open-ear speakers for music and calls, plus Meta AI voice features. This Wayfarer variant comes in a Large fit with a Matte Black frame and Transitions Graphite Green lenses that adapt to light. It is currently ranked as a best seller in Wearable Tech Glasses on Amazon India.

Reasons to consider

• The advertised flat ₹7,750 SBI credit card discount would bring the listed ₹26,775 price down to ₹19,025 — a substantial saving on a recently launched wearable.
• The item is in stock with fast delivery options and is shipped by Amazon, which keeps fulfilment and returns straightforward.
• Gen 1 hardware still covers the core smart-glasses features — camera, audio, calls and Meta AI — often at a lower price than newer generations.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Strong effective price if the SBI card discount applies
• Confirmed in-stock listing on Amazon India
• Capable feature set: 12MP camera, open-ear audio, Meta AI

Cons

• The ₹7,750 discount and ₹19,025 effective price are advertised only; the offer was not visible on the product page
• Discount depends on using an eligible SBI credit card; other payment methods pay ₹26,775
• This is the Gen 1 model — buyers wanting the latest hardware should compare with newer versions

Buyer fit

This suits shoppers who already want Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses, hold an SBI credit card, and are comfortable with the first-generation model. If you do not have an eligible SBI card, the real price is ₹26,775 and the deal is far less compelling.

Final verdict

A worthwhile buy at the advertised ₹19,025 effective price — but only if the flat ₹7,750 SBI credit card discount actually appears at checkout for your card and account. Since the offer could not be confirmed on the product page, check the discount before paying; at the confirmed ₹26,775 list price, weigh it against newer-generation alternatives first.
