Product overview

The ProMaxe is a budget wireless mouse from Arctic Fox aimed at everyday computing. It connects over a 2.4 GHz link through a small USB nano receiver rather than Bluetooth, which keeps pairing simple — plug in the receiver and it works. The sensor is rated up to 2400 DPI, which is comfortably above what most office and casual use needs, and optical tracking means it behaves predictably on common surfaces. At ₹399 it sits firmly in the entry-level wireless segment.

Reasons to consider

• The ₹399 selling price is confirmed on the merchant page, not just advertised, so this is a genuine low price rather than a hopeful claim.
• 2400 DPI is higher than many mice at this price point, useful on larger or high-resolution screens.
• The 2.4 GHz nano receiver setup is plug-and-play, with no pairing or software needed.
• It is Amazon fulfilled, which generally means straightforward delivery and returns handling.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹399 price, competitive for a branded wireless mouse
• Adjustable high-precision sensor up to 2400 DPI
• Simple USB receiver connectivity across PC, Mac and laptops
• In stock at the time of checking

Cons

• The advertised 3% coupon could not be confirmed on the product page
• No Bluetooth option, so the USB receiver must stay plugged in
• Budget build — no premium features like silent clicks or rechargeable battery are listed
• MRP and official discount percentage are not shown, so the size of the saving is unclear

Buyer fit

This suits buyers who want a cheap, no-fuss wireless mouse for office work, study or a spare laptop. It is less suited to users who specifically want Bluetooth, rechargeable batteries or ergonomic features for long sessions. If you were counting on the extra 3% coupon, check the product page at checkout — it was not visible when this listing was verified.

Final verdict

At a verified ₹399, the Arctic Fox ProMaxe is a solid value pick if you need an inexpensive wireless mouse right now. The core spec sheet — 2400 DPI sensor, 2.4 GHz receiver, cross-platform support — is strong for the price. The only caveat is the unconfirmed 3% coupon, so buy on the strength of the ₹399 price rather than any extra saving.
