Product overview

This LG UltraGear monitor combines a 27-inch Full HD panel with a 180Hz refresh rate. The listing also identifies 1ms MBR, AMD FreeSync, HDR10, DisplayPort, two HDMI inputs and a three-side virtually borderless design. These are specifications stated by the listing, not results from hands-on testing. At 27 inches, Full HD prioritises easier high frame rates over the sharper image offered by a 1440p display.

Reasons to consider

The 180Hz refresh rate is the main reason to consider this monitor for fast-paced PC gaming. It can suit buyers whose hardware can produce high frame rates at 1080p. FreeSync may help reduce screen tearing with compatible graphics hardware, while DisplayPort and two HDMI inputs make it easier to connect multiple devices. The listed price is also more accessible than many higher-resolution gaming monitors.

Pros and cons

Pros

• 180Hz refresh rate for high-frame-rate gaming
• DisplayPort plus two HDMI inputs
• FreeSync, HDR10 and anti-glare features are listed
• Tilt adjustment and three-side virtually borderless design

Cons

• Full HD is less sharp than 1440p on a 27-inch screen
• The advertised 35% saving is not verified without a matching MRP
• 1ms is an MBR specification, not a universal measured response-time guarantee
• Panel performance, ergonomics and warranty experience were not tested here

Buyer fit

This is best suited to a budget-conscious PC gamer who wants a high-refresh-rate 1080p monitor and accepts the lower pixel density of Full HD at 27 inches. It may be a weaker fit for productivity-focused buyers seeking sharper text, height adjustment, built-in speakers or a higher-resolution panel. Confirm the seller, return terms, warranty, delivery charges and final price before payment.

Final verdict

At ₹11,739, the LG 27GS50F is worth considering if your priority is 180Hz Full HD gaming at a relatively accessible listed price. The selling price and in-stock status were observed on the Amazon product page, but the claimed 35% discount remains unverified. Treat this as a promising listed price rather than a confirmed discount, and recheck the offer before ordering.
