Amazon: LONGWAY Zephyr 1200 mm BLDC 5-Star Ceiling Fan with Remote at ₹2,175 (advertised ₹1,900)

At a glance

The LONGWAY Zephyr is a 1200 mm BLDC ceiling fan with remote control, BEE 5-star energy rating, three anti-dust blades and a 3-year warranty, sold on Amazon India by seller RetailEZ Pvt Ltd. It was advertised at ₹1,900 with a claimed 67% off, but the Amazon product page currently shows a selling price of ₹2,175, in stock with free delivery. Treat the ₹1,900 figure as an advertised price we could not confirm.

Quick facts

Product overview

The Zephyr is a budget BLDC (brushless DC) ceiling fan from LONGWAY. BLDC motors are the main draw in this category: they typically consume far less power than conventional induction-motor fans and run quietly, which is where the BEE 5-star rating fits in. The listing also advertises an ultra-high-speed 3-blade design, an anti-dust coating, remote control operation and a 3-year warranty — a longer warranty than many fans in this price band.

Reasons to consider

• BLDC motor with a BEE 5-star rating should mean meaningfully lower electricity use than an ordinary fan, which matters for a product that runs many hours a day.
• Remote control is included, which is still not universal at this price.
• The 3-year warranty, if honoured, is a strong safety net for an appliance at this price.
• The product is in stock on Amazon with free delivery shown at check time.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Energy-efficient BLDC motor with 5-star BEE rating
• Remote control convenience
• Anti-dust blade coating for easier cleaning
• 3-year warranty per the listing

Cons

• The observed price of ₹2,175 is higher than the advertised ₹1,900, so the deal is weaker than promoted
• LONGWAY is a budget brand; long-term reliability and service reach are less proven than bigger names
• The claimed "67% off" could not be matched to a confirmed MRP on the page

Buyer fit

This suits buyers who want a cheap entry into BLDC fans — for bedrooms or secondary rooms — and value low running costs and a remote over premium brand assurance. Buyers who want established after-sales networks or smarter features (app/voice control) may prefer spending more on better-known BLDC brands.

Final verdict

Worth considering if you need an inexpensive BLDC ceiling fan, but buy at the real ₹2,175 price, not the advertised ₹1,900. Even at ₹2,175, a 5-star BLDC fan with remote and a 3-year warranty is decent value; just check the seller rating and recent reviews on the listing before ordering.
