Amazon: Kamiliant by American Tourister Savvy 70 cm Check-in Suitcase at ₹1,699 (Advertised 84% Off)

At a glance

The Kamiliant by American Tourister Medium Savvy 70 cm check-in suitcase (Deep Ocean, 8-wheel spinner, polypropylene hard shell) is listed on Amazon.in at ₹1,699. The merchant page confirms the ₹1,699 selling price and shows the bag in stock. A claim of "84% off" is advertised, which would imply an MRP of roughly ₹10,600, but the merchant page evidence did not expose an explicit MRP, so treat the discount percentage as indicative rather than confirmed.

Product overview

Kamiliant is American Tourister's budget-oriented luggage line, so this bag sits in the value end of a known suitcase brand family rather than a no-name import. The Savvy is a medium 70 cm check-in trolley — the size most travellers use for trips of about a week. The polypropylene hard shell keeps weight reasonable while protecting contents better than soft luggage, and the 8-wheel spinner setup (four double wheels) makes it easier to roll through airports and stations. The listing is for the Deep Ocean blue colourway.

Reasons to consider

• ₹1,699 for a branded 70 cm hard-shell spinner is at the low end of what this category usually costs; comparable Kamiliant and Aristocrat hard cases typically list higher.
• Check-in medium size suits most domestic and international trips without being oversized.
• Amazon's buy-box price was confirmed at ₹1,699 with the item in stock, so the advertised headline price is real right now.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Verified ₹1,699 selling price on the merchant page, in stock
• Reputable budget brand under the American Tourister umbrella
• Hard PP shell and 8-wheel spinner at a budget price

Cons

• The "84% off" figure is advertised; the merchant page did not expose an MRP to confirm it
• Kamiliant is a value line — materials and hardware are adequate, not premium
• Price is tied to the specific Deep Ocean variant; other colours or sizes may differ
• Amazon prices move quickly; the price may change or the variant may sell out

Buyer fit

This suits travellers who need a dependable medium check-in case for occasional trips and care more about price than premium fittings. If you fly frequently and put heavy mileage on luggage, a higher-tier American Tourister or Samsonite case will age better. If you only need cabin size, this 70 cm bag is too big for carry-on.

Final verdict

If you need a medium check-in suitcase, ₹1,699 for a branded 70 cm hard-shell spinner is a strong buy — the price itself is verified on Amazon.in. Take the advertised "84% off" with a pinch of salt since the MRP could not be confirmed, but even ignoring the percentage, the absolute price is competitive. Check the seller and delivery estimate on the listing before ordering.
