At a glance

Himalaya Total Care Super Absorb Baby Pants diapers in size NB/XS (newborn, up to 5 kg), 90-count pack, are listed on Amazon.in at ₹596 — about ₹6.62 per diaper. Product overview

This is a 90-count pack of Himalaya's Total Care Super Absorb pant-style diapers sized for newborns up to 5 kg. The listing highlights breathable material, "rapid zig zag absorption," and a claim of keeping skin calm and rash-free. Pant-style diapers pull on rather than using tape fasteners, which some parents find quicker for changes once the baby can lie still.

Reasons to consider

• Per-piece cost of about ₹6.62 is competitive for a branded newborn diaper pack.
• Ships from Amazon, which generally means faster, more reliable delivery and easier returns than merchant-fulfilled orders.
• Large review base (85,000+ ratings) gives a reasonable signal on fit and absorbency for this size.
• A 90-count pack suits parents who want a bulk buy for the newborn stage.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Low per-diaper price for a recognised brand
• Amazon-fulfilled with Amazon's Choice badge
• Strong rating volume for the NB/XS size

Cons

• The page's "50% savings" refers to a reference/MRP-style price the page did not surface clearly in the text we could read — treat it as marketing framing, not a verified historical low.
• The live listing price is a little above the figure the deal alert advertised.
• Newborn sizes are outgrown quickly; a 90-count pack may outlast the baby's time in this size.
• Sold by a third-party seller (RK World Infocom), though fulfilled by Amazon.

Buyer fit

Best for parents or caregivers of newborns up to 5 kg who want a low-cost branded pant diaper and have Prime or free-delivery eligibility. If your baby is near the 5 kg upper bound, consider sizing up rather than stocking this count.

Final verdict

A solid, fairly priced everyday buy rather than a headline-grabbing discount. The merchant page confirms the 90-count newborn pack at ₹596 — marginally above the advertised price — so there is no deeper hidden deal here. If you need newborn diapers anyway, this is a reasonable price from a trusted fulfilment channel; if you were hoping for a special steal, the price is roughly in line with what was advertised.
