Amazon: Havells 6A/16A 3-Pin Adapter at ₹40

At a glance

Amazon India is listing a Havells 6A/16A 3-pin multi-plug adapter at ₹40, and the product page confirms the ₹40 selling price with the item in stock. It is a very low price for a branded electrical accessory, though the listing shows no MRP, so the true size of the discount cannot be calculated.

Product overview

A 6A/16A 3-pin adapter is a small multi-plug that lets you connect both a standard 6-amp plug and a heavy 16-amp plug (the kind used by geysers, air conditioners and other high-draw appliances) to a single wall socket. Havells is a well-known Indian electricals brand, and its basic adapters typically include safety shutters and sturdy contacts — useful for homes where 16A points are scarce.

This listing sits in Amazon's Home Improvement category and is sold by Clicktech Retail Private Ltd with Amazon fulfilment, which generally means smoother delivery and returns than a merchant-fulfilled listing.

Reasons to consider

• Extremely low price: ₹40 for a branded adapter is cheap even by local electrical-shop standards.
• Dual rating: Supports both 6A and 16A plugs, so it covers everyday and heavy appliances.
• In stock with free delivery: The page showed free delivery options on eligible orders.
• Useful spare: Adapters like this are handy for travel, kitchens and older homes with few sockets.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Branded (Havells) adapter at a near-disposable price
• 16A support suits heavy appliances like geysers
• Amazon-fulfilled with the seller identified on the page

Cons

• No MRP shown, so the advertised saving cannot be quantified
• The listing page carries minimal specification detail; wattage and material ratings should be checked on the product itself before using it with high-load appliances
• At this price it is frequently bought as an add-on; delivery speed may vary by pin code

Buyer fit

A sensible buy if you need an extra 16A-capable multi-plug — for a geyser, room heater or AC point — or just want a spare adapter in the drawer. Do not use a ₹40 adapter as a substitute for a properly rated extension board if you plan to run multiple heavy appliances at once; adapters are for converting one socket, not powering a whole setup.

Final verdict

A straightforward, verified ₹40 price on a branded 6A/16A adapter makes this a worthwhile pickup if you actually need one — arguably worth adding to an existing order even if you only might. There is no headline discount to evaluate, but at ₹40 it hardly needs one.
