Product overview

The LG PL2S is a compact 5 W portable Bluetooth speaker tuned with Meridian Audio, positioned as an entry-level speaker for casual listening. LG advertises up to 10 hours of battery life, which is reasonable for a speaker of this size. The 3.9 rating from a relatively small pool of buyers is middling rather than glowing — worth weighing before you jump on it at full interest.

Reasons to consider

• ₹2,999 is a low price for an LG-branded, Meridian-tuned portable speaker when it is actually in stock.
• A 62% headline discount on a ₹7,990 MRP makes it one of the cheaper branded 5 W options on Flipkart.
• Ten hours of claimed playback covers a full day of casual use.
• LG's brand-store presence and Flipkart fulfilment make returns straightforward if it disappoints.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Deep advertised discount versus stated MRP
• Recognisable brand with Meridian audio tuning
• Compact, bright design suited to casual listening

Cons

• Currently out of stock — the deal is not purchasable right now
• Only 5 W output, so volume and bass are limited
• 3.9 rating is lukewarm for this category
• An extra fee (about ₹39 Protect Promise) is added at checkout

Buyer fit

This suits shoppers who want a cheap, brand-name speaker for light personal or room listening and are happy to wait for a restock or track the price. If you need a speaker today, look at similarly priced in-stock alternatives on Flipkart — the page itself shows competing options around the ₹3,000 mark.

Final verdict

At ₹2,999 the LG PL2S is a fair, not spectacular, buy for a casual speaker — decent value given the LG and Meridian names, held back by a modest 5 W output and an average rating. Since it is currently out of stock, bookmark the listing and revisit when availability returns; do not pay meaningfully above this advertised price.
