Reasons to consider

• ₹289 is a very low entry price for a branded gaming mouse with adjustable DPI.

• Six buttons and DPI switching cover the basics most casual gamers actually use.
• Braided cable and a 1-year warranty add some durability reassurance at this price point.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Extremely low price for a wired gaming mouse
• Verified current selling price on Amazon.in
• Adjustable DPI and 6 buttons
• 1-year manufacturer warranty

Cons

• Entry-level sensor and build — not suited to competitive play
• The ₹799 MRP is an advertised figure, so the true discount versus typical street price may be smaller
• Budget lighting and switches; expectations should stay modest
• The newer listing advertises up to 7200 DPI, while older descriptions cite a 3600 DPI ceiling — specs may vary by revision

Buyer fit

Good for students, casual gamers or anyone needing a spare mouse with gaming looks and basic DPI control at minimal cost. Skip it if you play competitively or want software customisation, higher-end sensors or wireless.

Final verdict

At ₹289, the EvoFox Spectre is easy to recommend as a budget impulse buy for casual gaming or a backup mouse. The price is verified on Amazon.in, though you should treat the headline 64%-off-MRP figure as a marketing comparison rather than a guaranteed saving versus its usual selling price.
