Flipkart: Wipro 5W LED Tubelight Batten (1 ft, 6500K) Pack of 5 Listed at ₹300 (87% Off)

At a glance

Heads-up: the ₹300 deal price is advertised — the Flipkart product page text displays "87% off, ₹2,299 → ₹300" with a "Buy at ₹285" offer line, but the page's structured pricing data could not be read, so we could not independently confirm the selling price. Verify the price in your cart before paying.

Quick facts

Product overview

This is Wipro's small-format LED batten: a 5-watt, 1-foot tubelight in 6500K cool white, sold as a pack of 5. The Flipkart listing cites a 50,000-hour working life, 210–250 V operation, 0.04 A current draw, LM-80-tested LEDs, and a mercury-free build. It is intended for indoor utility lighting — under-cabinet spots, shelves, stairwells, pooja rooms, and similar compact spaces where a full-size batten would be overkill.

Reasons to consider

• At ₹300 for five battens, the per-piece cost is very low for a branded Wipro fitting.
• 6500K cool white suits task and utility areas.
• Seller ReliableTech carries a 4.1 rating with 11 years on the platform, and the listing is Flipkart Assured with a 7-day return window.
• A ₹285 "apply offers" line on the page suggests the effective price could drop further with eligible offers.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Extremely low advertised price for a five-pack
• Reputable brand and long-tenured seller
• Mercury-free, low power draw (5 W)
• Flipkart Assured fulfilment and returns

Cons

• Selling price not independently confirmed via structured product data — advertised figure only
• "Notify Me" element on the page hints stock may be limited or location-dependent
• No cash on delivery
• MRP-based 87% discount is a marketing comparison; real-world street price for 5W battens is typically modest anyway

Buyer fit

Worth a look if you need several small battens for utility areas and are already shopping on Flipkart. It is a low-risk buy at the advertised price, provided the price holds in your cart. Less useful if you need primary room lighting — a 5W 1-ft batten is accent/utility grade, not a room light.

Final verdict

A plausible bargain on a niche product, but buy with eyes open: the ₹300/87%-off figures are advertised and appear in the page text, yet we could not confirm structured pricing. If your cart shows ~₹300 (or ₹285 with offers), it is a reasonable buy for utility lighting; if the price reverts far higher, skip it.
