Product overview

This is a budget decorative rope light: a flexible, bendable tube of multicolour LEDs over a five-metre run. Rope lights like this are typically used to outline balconies, gates, windows or ceiling coves rather than as primary lighting. The plug-in design means no batteries to replace, but it also means you need a socket near wherever you plan to drape it, and outdoor placement should be treated cautiously unless the listing clearly states weather resistance.

Reasons to consider

• The price is the headline. ₹249 for a 5-metre LED rope light is firmly in impulse-buy territory ahead of the festive season.
• Verified pricing. The ₹249 figure is confirmed by Amazon's own product pricing, not only by the advertised claim.
• Fulfilled by Amazon. That generally means more reliable delivery and easier returns than a pure marketplace fulfilment.
• Flexible placement. A bendable rope format suits railings, door frames and cove recesses where rigid strips don't fit.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Very low price for the category
• Confirmed in stock with free delivery shown
• Five-metre length covers a decent run of decoration
• Plug-in power, no batteries needed

Cons

• Budget-tier product — expect basic build quality at this price
• Five metres may be shorter than you need for a full balcony or room perimeter; measure first
• Outdoor/weather resistance isn't clearly established, so use it under cover
• Multicolour-only output — no warm-white option for subtle lighting

Buyer fit

Good for shoppers who want cheap, colourful festive decoration for a balcony, doorway or room accent and are fine with budget-tier quality. Less suitable if you need weatherproof outdoor lighting, a single-colour or warm-white look, or runs longer than five metres — in those cases spend more on a rated product.

Final verdict

At ₹249 with the price confirmed on the merchant page, this is a solid low-risk festive buy for indoor or sheltered decorative use. Keep expectations modest given the price, check your required length before ordering, and don't rely on it in exposed outdoor conditions. If you just need an inexpensive splash of colour for Diwali, it's easy to recommend; if you need durable or waterproof lighting, look elsewhere.
