Product overview

The Nongi Designer D1 is a feather shuttlecock with a rubber base cork and a skirt made from what the listing describes as superfine hand-picked feathers. It is sold in a tube of 10 and is pitched at beginners, practice sessions and training matches rather than competitive play. Feather shuttles in this price bracket are a budget alternative to premium options from brands like Yonex or Li-Ning, and typically trade some durability and flight consistency for a much lower per-shuttle cost.

Reasons to consider

• Very low cost per shuttle makes it suitable for casual play and coaching drills where shuttles wear out fast.
• Feather construction gives a more natural flight than nylon shuttles at a similar price.
• The listing is a tagged bestseller in its category with a substantial rating base, so there is reasonable crowd feedback to judge from.
• Sold by an established Flipkart seller with Flipkart Assured fulfilment and cash-on-delivery support.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Advertised price works out to a cheap per-shuttle cost for a feather shuttle.
• Pack of 10 is convenient for regular practice.
• 7-day return window and COD available.

Cons

• 3.8 rating is middling; expect inconsistent durability across the pack.
• Exact ₹248 price could not be confirmed on the product page, which showed ₹253 (₹240 with offers).
• Feather shuttles at this price are not built for competitive match play.

Buyer fit

This suits recreational players, beginners and coaches who burn through shuttles quickly and want feather flight on a nylon-shuttle budget. Players who need consistent speed and durability for serious matches should look at higher-rated nylon or premium feather options instead.

Final verdict

Worth picking up if you need an inexpensive pack of feather shuttles for practice or casual games. The product is real and the page is live, but the advertised ₹248 sits a few rupees below what the page itself displayed, so expect to pay around ₹240–₹253 depending on applied offers. At that price it remains good value for a 10-pack, just with average quality expectations.
