Amazon: Crompton Aeries Curved 60cm Filterless Kitchen Chimney at ₹7,999 (Advertised ₹750 Coupon)

At a glance

The Crompton Aeries Curved 60cm kitchen chimney is listed on Amazon India at ₹7,999, and the product page confirms both that price and in-stock availability. A deal alert also advertised an additional ₹750 off coupon, which would lower the effective price further — however, no coupon was visible in the page data we could observe, so treat that extra saving as unconfirmed and check for a coupon checkbox on the listing before paying.

Product overview

This is a 60cm curved-glass wall-mounted chimney aimed at standard Indian cooktops. The 1280 m³/hr suction rating is a mid-range figure suitable for everyday frying and tadka cooking in a small-to-medium kitchen. The filterless design means there is no baffle or mesh filter to wash — a thermal auto-clean cycle heats the housing to liquefy grease, which drips into a removable oil collector tray. Gesture control lets you wave a hand to change speeds, useful when your hands are oily mid-cooking.

Crompton is an established Indian electricals brand, and the warranty terms are a genuine highlight: 7 years on the motor is well above the 1–2 years many budget chimneys offer, though the rest of the unit is covered for only 1 year.

Reasons to consider

• Price is confirmed: the ₹7,999 figure on the product page matches the advertised price, so this is not a bait listing.
• Low maintenance design: filterless auto-clean plus an oil collector removes the messiest part of chimney upkeep.
• Strong motor warranty: 7 years motor cover reduces the biggest long-term repair risk.
• Amazon fulfilled: in stock with free scheduled delivery, which typically means smoother returns and service.
• Possible extra ₹750 off: if the advertised coupon appears on your account, the deal becomes meaningfully better — competitive for a branded auto-clean chimney.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹7,999 selling price, in stock
• 1280 m³/hr suction adequate for most home kitchens
• Thermal auto-clean and gesture control at a budget price point
• 7-year motor warranty

Cons

• The advertised ₹750 coupon could not be verified on the page — it may be account-specific or expired
• Only 1 year overall warranty on non-motor parts
• 1280 m³/hr is mid-range; heavy daily frying in larger kitchens may want higher suction
• Curved-glass designs show smudges and need regular wipe-downs

Buyer fit

This suits buyers fitting out a kitchen on a budget who want a branded, low-maintenance chimney rather than the cheapest unbranded option. If you cook heavy fried food daily in a large kitchen, consider a higher-suction (1400+ m³/hr) model. Also note installation costs and ducting are typically extra — factor those into the total spend.

Final verdict

At a confirmed ₹7,999 this is a fair price for a branded 60cm filterless auto-clean chimney, and worth buying if you need one. Check the product page for a ₹750 coupon checkbox before checkout — if it applies to your account, the deal becomes genuinely strong. Do not count on the coupon; count on the ₹7,999.
