Product overview

The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is Lenovo's flagship-leaning Android tablet. The headline hardware is a 13-inch LCD panel at 3504×2190 with a 144Hz refresh rate, 800-nit peak brightness and 99% DCI-P3 coverage — specs aimed at media consumption and stylus work rather than OLED purists.

Inside is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 paired with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, plus microSD expansion up to 2TB. A 10,200mAh battery, four JBL-tuned speakers with Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 7 and a USB 3.0 port with DisplayPort output round out the package. The box includes the keyboard cover and the Tab Pen Plus stylus, which matters because rival tablets often sell these accessories separately.

Reasons to consider

• Accessories included: the keyboard and pen being in the box makes the headline price more directly comparable to bare-tablet rivals.
• Strong spec sheet for the price: a 144Hz 3.5K display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and Wi-Fi 7 are uncommon in this segment.
• Productivity-ready: USB 3.0 with DP-out means it can drive an external monitor, unusual at this level.
• Potential extra saving: if the advertised SBI credit-card discount applies to your account, the effective ₹45,749 price is strong value for this bundle.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹47,999 selling price, in stock with fast delivery
• Keyboard and stylus bundled — no hidden accessory spend
• Large, sharp, high-refresh display good for notes and streaming
• Quad JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos

Cons

• LCD panel rather than OLED at this price
• 8GB RAM is adequate but not generous for heavy multitasking
• The advertised ₹2,250 SBI credit-card discount is card- and account-specific and not reflected in the confirmed buy-box price
• Long-term Android update commitment is unclear

Buyer fit

This suits students and professionals who want a large-screen tablet for note-taking, documents and media without buying a laptop, and anyone who values getting the pen and keyboard bundled. It is less suited to buyers who want OLED contrast for movie watching, or who need guaranteed multi-year software support.

Final verdict

At a confirmed ₹47,999 with the keyboard and Pen Plus included, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is a competitive big-screen Android tablet bundle. If the advertised SBI credit-card offer applies to you, ₹45,749 makes it an even better value productivity tablet — just verify the card discount appears at checkout before counting on it. Worth buying if you need a tablet-plus-keyboard setup now.
