Product overview

This is a lightweight LCD e-writer: a pressure-sensitive screen you write or draw on with the included stylus, then clear with a button press. The 8.5-inch panel displays rainbow-coloured strokes, and Amazon Basics positions it as glare-free with no blue light or radiation, making it suitable for children's doodling, handwriting practice, shopping lists, and quick memos. The ultra-thin body keeps it portable enough to slip into a bag, and the coin-cell powered erase function means no charging in daily use.

Reasons to consider

• At ₹135 it is priced like a disposable impulse buy, far below typical branded LCD writing pads.
• The rainbow-stroke screen is more engaging for kids than single-colour variants.
• No blue-light or glare from the LCD panel, so it is easier on eyes than a phone or tablet screen for scribbling.
• Reusable erase-button design replaces piles of rough paper for notes, sums, and doodles.
• Amazon listing shows the item in stock with free delivery, so there is no coupon or bank condition to satisfy.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Very low ₹135 price against a ₹999 listed MRP
• Lightweight, ultra-thin and portable
• Includes stylus; no charging needed for everyday use
• Suitable for both kids' drawing and adult note-taking

Cons

• No partial erase — the whole screen clears at once, so work cannot be selectively edited or saved
• Build and screen quality are basic; this is a budget accessory, not a premium e-ink device
• The ₹999 MRP is a list price; typical street pricing for similar generic tablets is well under that, so the real-world saving is smaller than 86%

Buyer fit

Good pick for parents wanting a cheap, screen-time-light doodle pad for children, students needing a scratch pad for rough work, or anyone who wants a fridge-side memo board. Skip it if you need to save notes, erase partially, or want a larger premium writing surface.

Final verdict

At ₹135 on Amazon this writing tablet is an easy recommendation if you have any use for a reusable doodle or memo pad — the price is low enough that even occasional use justifies it. Treat the 86% discount against MRP as marketing framing rather than a literal saving, and buy it for what it is: an inexpensive, functional LCD scribble pad while the festive offer lasts.
