Product overview

The ZEBRONICS WAR M is an entry-level wired gaming mouse from Zebronics, an Indian peripherals brand known for low-cost PC accessories. According to the Amazon listing, it offers six buttons, an adjustable sensor topping out at 4200 DPI, a gold-plated USB interface, breathing LED lighting, and a 1.8-metre braided cable. At this price bracket it competes with generic wired mice, so the DPI range, extra buttons, and braided cable are the features doing the heavy lifting.

Reasons to consider

• ₹299 is very cheap for a mouse advertising up to 4200 DPI and six buttons.
• A braided 1.8 m cable is uncommon at this price, where plain rubber cables dominate.
• Wired connection means no batteries, no pairing, and no latency concerns for casual gaming.
• The merchant page confirms the advertised ₹299 price and shows the item in stock.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Extremely low price for a gaming-styled mouse
• 6 buttons and up to 4200 DPI on paper
• Braided cable and gold-plated USB connector
• Price verified directly on Amazon India

Cons

• No advertised discount or MRP comparison on the page — ₹299 may simply be its street price
• Budget sensor and switches are unlikely to match mid-range gaming mice for consistency
• Only wired; no wireless option
• Brand after-sales support for sub-₹300 peripherals can be limited

Buyer fit

This suits buyers who want a spare mouse, a first gaming-style mouse on a tight budget, or a cheap daily driver for office and casual use. Competitive players who care about sensor consistency, switch durability, and software customisation should look at higher-tier options from Logitech, Razer, or similar brands.

Final verdict

At ₹299 with the price confirmed on Amazon India's product page, the ZEBRONICS WAR M is an easy low-risk buy if you need an inexpensive wired mouse. There is no advertised markdown, so treat it as a good everyday price rather than a limited-time steal — but at this number it is hard to fault for casual use.
