Quick facts

Product overview

The UNIGEN 20W USB-C PD 3.0 charger is a compact wall adapter designed for fast charging across a wide range of devices. According to the product listing, it can charge iPhones up to 3× faster than the original 5W Apple charger. The charger carries BIS certification, which is India's mandatory safety standard for electronic accessories.

Compatibility spans iPhone 17, 16 Pro Max, 16 Pro, 16 Plus, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, SE, XS, iPad Pro, iPad Mini, iPad Air, AirPods Pro, and Android devices with USB-C ports including Google Pixel models. The compact and lightweight design is intended for home, office, and travel use.

Important: This is a wall charger only — no charging cable is included. For Apple devices, you'll need a USB-C to Lightning or USB-C to USB-C cable (sold separately).

The Amazon listing shows a customer rating of 3.9 stars from 1,326 ratings, suggesting a reasonable but not exceptional satisfaction level among buyers.

Reasons to consider

• BIS certified — meets India's mandatory safety standard, unlike many unbranded chargers at this price point
• Wide compatibility — works with the full iPhone 12–17 lineup, older iPhones, iPad, and USB-C Android devices
• 20W PD output — meaningful speed upgrade over the 5W charger bundled with older iPhones
• Compact form factor — easy to carry as a travel or backup charger
• Coupon discount — advertised at ₹293 after coupon UNIGEN, well below the ₹1,999 MRP if the price holds

Pros and cons

Pros

• BIS certified for safety compliance in India
• Broad device compatibility including latest iPhone 17 series
• Compact and portable design
• PD 3.0 fast charging protocol supported
• Sold by the brand directly on Amazon

Cons

• No cable included — additional purchase required
• Current selling price could not be independently confirmed; ₹293 is an advertised/coupon price
• 3.9-star rating (out of 5) from reviews suggests some buyers have had mixed experiences
• A previous deal on this same product was listed at ₹159 in late September 2026, so the ₹293 price may not be the lowest this charger has reached

Buyer fit

This charger suits buyers who need a compact, BIS-certified 20W USB-C fast charger for iPhone 12 or newer (or compatible Android devices) and don't already have one. It's a practical pick if you want a spare for travel or office use. If you already own a 20W or faster charger, the upgrade benefit is minimal. Budget-conscious buyers should note that this product has previously been available at lower prices — checking price history before purchasing is advisable. You must apply coupon code UNIGEN at checkout to get the advertised price.

Final verdict

At the advertised ₹293 with coupon UNIGEN, this BIS-certified 20W USB-C charger offers solid value for iPhone and Android users who need a fast, portable wall adapter. However, the selling price has not been independently verified at the time of writing — the actual checkout price may differ. Apply the coupon at cart and confirm the final price before completing your purchase. Given this product previously appeared at a lower price, it may be worth watching for a better deal if you're not in a hurry.
