Product overview

This is a plug-in curtain-style string light: a horizontal wire with hanging strands of warm-white LEDs interspersed with star-shaped covers. It is aimed at festive decorating — Christmas, Diwali, weddings, parties, and general room or balcony ambience. The listing describes copper-wire construction, a low-voltage power supply, and a roughly 1.6 m power cord.

One button on the controller cycles through eight lighting patterns (steady, waves, chasing, twinkle and similar). The strings themselves are rated IP44 for splashes, so they can be used on covered outdoor areas, but the adapter and controller must stay dry.

Reasons to consider

• The price of ₹326 is genuinely low for a 138-LED curtain light, and it is confirmed on the Amazon product page itself.
• Eight modes give it more versatility than basic single-mode strings.
• Star-shaped covers make it a ready-made festive decoration rather than a plain light strand.
• Fulfilled by Amazon means standard delivery speed and Amazon's returns handling.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹326 selling price on the Amazon product page
• 138 LEDs across 12 star covers in two sizes
• Indoor/outdoor use with IP44-rated strings
• Single-button mode switching, no app or remote needed

Cons

• The ₹1,999 MRP looks like a typical inflated list price, so the 84% headline is relative to MRP rather than typical street pricing
• Power adapter and controller are not waterproof, limiting true outdoor placement
• Plastic star covers and thin wires are typical at this price — handle gently during installation
• Warm white only; no colour-changing option

Buyer fit

A good impulse buy if you need festive or ambient lighting this season — Christmas, Diwali, or a wedding backdrop — and want the convenience of Amazon fulfilment and returns. Less suited to anyone wanting permanent outdoor lighting (the controller needs shelter) or app-controlled, colour-changing effects.

Final verdict

At ₹326, this is a low-risk purchase that we could verify directly on Amazon's product page: in stock, sold by The Purple Tree and shipped by Amazon. Treat the 84%-off figure as marketing against an inflated MRP, but even in absolute terms this is a very cheap way to get a 138-LED curtain light with eight modes. Worth it if you actually have a window, wall or backdrop to dress up.
