Product overview

The Sturlite Skycon is a compact 6A multi-plug adapter that accepts both 2-pin and 3-pin plugs, including international-style plugs in its universal socket. The body is polycarbonate, pitched as lightweight and durable, and the brand positions it for travel as well as home and office use. It is described as suitable for light appliances and some heavier loads such as geysers, microwaves and vacuum cleaners, though buyers should stay within the 6A rating regardless of the marketing language.

Reasons to consider

• Verified price of ₹1,614 on Amazon India for a bulk 20-pack of adapters.
• Universal socket design accepts multiple plug types, useful for travel or mixed-device households.
• In stock with Amazon fulfilment, which usually means reliable delivery and easier returns.
• Bulk pack suits offices, guest houses, hostels or resellers needing many adapters at once.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• Low per-unit cost implied by the 20-pack at the verified price
• 2-pin and 3-pin compatibility in one adapter
• Amazon-fulfilled with the seller named on the listing

Cons:

• 6A rating limits it to relatively light loads despite broad compatibility claims
• The 88% MRP-based discount is advertised but could not be verified against an Amazon-displayed MRP
• A 20-pack is more than a typical household needs

Buyer fit

This deal fits buyers who genuinely need multiple adapters — small offices, PG/hostel operators, repair shops, or frequent travellers who want spares. Single-adapter buyers will likely find smaller packs better value even if the per-unit price is slightly higher. Avoid it for high-draw appliances that exceed a 6A rating.

Final verdict

The ₹1,614 price for a 20-pack of Sturlite Skycon adapters is confirmed on Amazon India and looks reasonable for a bulk buy of universal 6A travel adapters. Treat the 88% discount figure as an advertised saving rather than a verified one, and buy only if you can use the bulk quantity.
