Samsung Galaxy S23 5G (256 GB) Listed at ₹25,156 on Flipkart — Advertised 74% Off

At a glance

Samsung's Galaxy S23 5G (256 GB, Phantom Black, 8 GB RAM) is being advertised at ₹25,156 on Flipkart — a claimed 74% below the listed ₹95,999 MRP. This is a flagship-class Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone from Samsung's 2023 line-up, and at this advertised price it would be one of the cheapest ways into the S23 series. However, we could not load the Flipkart product page during our check (it returned a server error), so the price is unverified and the listing may sell out or revert quickly.

Product overview

The Galaxy S23 5G was Samsung's flagship for early 2023. Key specs include a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 3,900 mAh battery and a triple rear camera setup led by a 50 MP main sensor. The 256 GB / 8 GB RAM variant is the higher-storage model, useful for buyers who shoot lots of video or keep large app libraries. Samsung has committed to multiple generations of Android and security updates for the S23 series, which extends its usable lifespan.

Reasons to consider

• Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 remains a fast, efficient chipset for everyday use and gaming.
• 256 GB storage at a price typically associated with mid-range phones.
• Samsung's update policy means the phone still has software support ahead.
• Compact 6.1-inch size is increasingly rare among modern flagships.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Flagship-grade performance and camera hardware
• Generous storage for the advertised price
• Long-term software update commitment

Cons

• Price unverified: the Flipkart page returned an error when checked, so the advertised ₹25,156 could be wrong, seller-dependent or already gone
• ₹95,999 "MRP" reflects the launch price, not the phone's typical street price, so the real discount is smaller than 74%
• Older model with a modest 3,900 mAh battery and slower charging than rivals

Buyer fit

This suits buyers who want flagship-level performance and cameras without paying current flagship prices, and who can act quickly on time-sensitive listings. It is less suited to anyone who wants the newest model, the biggest battery or confirmed stock before deciding.

Final verdict

If the ₹25,156 price is real and available at checkout, a 256 GB Galaxy S23 5G is strong value for a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone — but we could not confirm it on Flipkart. Check the live listing, the seller rating and the final checkout price (including any bank offers the price may depend on) before buying.
