Product overview

This is a single 72-foot (~22 metre) string of multicolor LEDs on flexible wire, sold by Quace on Amazon India. The listing positions it as general-purpose decorative lighting — draped along balconies, wrapped around plants or railings, or used as backdrop lighting for festivals and events. Strings of this type typically use small rice-style LEDs in red, green, blue and yellow on thin bendable wire, keeping them light and easy to shape. Specific electrical details such as power source, wattage and water-resistance rating were not confirmed in the evidence we could access, so treat outdoor-use claims cautiously.

Reasons to consider

• ₹179 is a low absolute price for a 22-metre LED string, so even a modest lifespan makes it cheap decoration.
• The length suits larger spaces — one string can cover a balcony railing or a full window frame.
• Flexible wire makes it easy to shape around furniture, plants and corners.
• Timely for Diwali and the festive season, when decorative lighting is in demand.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹179 selling price on Amazon.in
• Long 72-foot run on a single string
• Multicolor LEDs suit festive rather than warm-white aesthetics
• Sold via Amazon with standard returns and a named seller (Quace Solutions)

Cons

• The higher reference price quoted in the deal could not be verified on the product page
• Budget fairy lights often have thin wires and basic plugs; durability is uncertain
• Water resistance / outdoor rating not confirmed — be cautious about unsheltered use
• Prices on Amazon can change quickly, and bank or coupon offers may vary by account

Buyer fit

Good for shoppers who want inexpensive, colorful festive lighting for a balcony, room or party backdrop and are comfortable with a budget product. Less suitable if you specifically need warm-white or single-color lights, a certified outdoor/waterproof rating, or a known premium brand with warranty support.

Final verdict

At a verified ₹179, this is a low-risk buy for seasonal decoration — the length alone would typically cost more from most competitors. Judge it on the actual ₹179 price rather than any advertised saving, since the reference price was not confirmed. Worth picking up if you need festive string lights; check the plug type and keep it away from rain unless the packaging confirms water resistance.
