Product overview

The WT-14 is positioned as an entry-level router for everyday use — browsing, streaming, video calls and connecting multiple devices such as phones, laptops, smart TVs and CCTV cameras. It carries four external antennas for wider coverage and supports IPv6. A 300Mbps rating indicates a single-band 2.4GHz 802.11n-class device, which is adequate for modest broadband plans but not ideal for high-speed fibre connections or heavy multi-device 4K streaming.

Reasons to consider

• ₹1,399 is a very low price for a new router with four antennas.
• Confirmed in stock on Amazon India with fulfilment by Amazon.
• Simple setup makes it suitable as a first router, a backup, or an access point for a small space.
• IPv6 support adds some future-proofing at this price.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Very low confirmed selling price of ₹1,399
• Four high-gain antennas for coverage in small homes or offices
• Easy installation and IPv6 compatibility
• Sold by an Amazon-fulfilled seller with standard returns

Cons

• 300Mbps single-band class hardware will bottleneck faster broadband plans
• The claimed 77% discount is off a ₹5,999 MRP that could not be verified on the merchant page — treat the headline saving as advertised, not proven
• Budget brand with limited track record; the related listing shows roughly 3.9 stars from a few thousand ratings
• No dual-band or gigabit-class specs evident

Buyer fit

This suits buyers on a tight budget who need basic WiFi for a small flat, office, CCTV setup or secondary space, especially on broadband plans under ~100Mbps. Buyers with high-speed fibre, large homes or many simultaneous 4K/gaming devices should look at dual-band or WiFi 5/6 routers instead.

Final verdict

At ₹1,399, the PunnkFunnk WT-14 is a reasonable budget buy if you need simple, no-frills WiFi for light usage. The price is confirmed on Amazon India, but the advertised 77% discount rests on an unverified ₹5,999 MRP, so judge it on the low absolute price rather than the headline saving. Worth considering if you need a cheap basic router now.
