Product overview

The Primebook 2 Max (2026) is an Android-based laptop rather than a Windows machine. It pairs the Helio G99 — a mid-range mobile chipset — with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and ships with Android 15. Machines in this category are typically aimed at students and light users who mainly need browsing, document work, video and Android apps on a larger screen. The grey 15.6-inch chassis and "in-built AI" branding are part of the listed configuration.

Reasons to consider

• A 15.6-inch laptop advertised under ₹28,000 is aggressive pricing if the listing holds.
• 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is a reasonable spec sheet for light, everyday use.
• Android 15 out of the box means current software on day one.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Low advertised price for a large-screen laptop
• Decent RAM and storage allocation for the segment

Cons

• Android, not Windows — many desktop apps will not run
• Helio G99 is a mobile chip; expect modest performance under heavy workloads
• The advertised price and discount could not be confirmed on the merchant page at check time

Buyer fit

Best suited to students, first-time laptop buyers and households wanting a cheap big-screen device for browsing, streaming, classes and Android apps. Not a fit if you need Windows software, serious multitasking or gaming.

Final verdict

If you specifically want an affordable Android laptop and the ₹27,990 price is live when you open the Flipkart listing, the Primebook 2 Max (2026) is worth a look for light use. Because the merchant page was inaccessible at check time, verify the live price, seller and return policy on Flipkart before paying — and remember this is an Android device, not a Windows laptop.
