Quick facts

Product overview

The Portronics POR-1569 is a budget wireless keyboard aimed at users who switch between devices. According to the listing details, it supports multi-device Bluetooth pairing alongside a 2.4GHz wireless connection, uses a compact tenkeyless (no number pad) layout, and includes noiseless keys plus an auto sleep mode to conserve battery. It is listed as compatible with desktops, laptops, Macs, iPads and tablets.

Reasons to consider

• The advertised price of ₹157 is exceptionally low for a branded wireless keyboard; even at a more typical street price, this model targets budget buyers.
• Multi-device Bluetooth plus 2.4GHz support makes it flexible for desk and tablet setups.
• The compact tenkeyless layout suits small desks and travel use.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Very low advertised price versus the claimed ₹1,999 MRP.
• Dual wireless modes (Bluetooth and 2.4GHz) with multi-device pairing.
• Quiet keys and auto sleep mode are useful everyday features.

Cons

• The ₹157 price was not confirmed on the Flipkart product page during review — it may be a glitch, seller-specific, or already expired.
• MRPs on accessories are often inflated, so the real-world discount may be far smaller than 92%.
• Budget keyboards in this range typically have limited warranty and build quality.

Buyer fit

This suits buyers who want a cheap spare or travel keyboard and are comfortable verifying the live price on Flipkart before checkout. It is less suited to anyone needing a mechanical keyboard, a full-size layout, or assured long-term durability.

Final verdict

If the ₹157 price is live when you check, the Portronics POR-1569 is an easy impulse buy for a secondary or travel keyboard. Because the advertised price could not be confirmed on the product page itself, open the Flipkart listing and confirm the actual selling price and seller rating before ordering — treat this as a potentially short-lived price error or flash deal.
