It can function both as a regular LED bulb and deliver light when mains power fails, provided it remains charged.

Reasons to consider

• Emergency lighting: Rechargeable and inverter-capable, it provides light backup during outages.
• Easy installation: B22 base works with most fitting sockets in Indian homes.
• Reliable brand: Philips is a trusted name in lighting.
• Pack convenience: Dual bulbs can serve multiple rooms or as replacements.

Pros and cons

• Ready backup during power cuts
• Rechargeable—no need for separate batteries

• Competitive per-bulb price

Cons:

• Exact duration of backup not specified on page
• Savings percent (64%) claimed is not verifiable; no visible MRP
• Battery longevity, warranty, and after-sales support info not available

Buyer fit

This offer caters to those seeking backup lighting in areas prone to outages or for hall and home use. If you already have B22 fittings and want trusted-brand reliability, this deal delivers two high-wattage bulbs for a mid-budget price. Bulk buyers looking for larger packs or detailed warranty/support might need further confirmation.

Final verdict

The listed Philips 12W Emergency T-Bulb (Pack of 2) at ₹876 on Amazon represents a practical buy for those who value continuity of lighting during blackouts and want a rechargeable, branded solution. The per-bulb value is solid for a rechargeable LED. However, because the claimed discount percentage was not verifiable on Amazon’s live price evidence and warranty/backup time remain unclear, buyers should value it for what it objectively delivers rather than the advertised percent-off. Overall, a recommendable solution if you need reliable standby lighting.
