Product overview

This is a five-piece stainless steel cookware set from Lifelong, an Indian home and kitchen brand positioned at the budget end of the market. The set combines the most common Indian kitchen shapes — a kadhai for frying and curries, a fry pan, a saucepan and a tope (a tall pot typically used for milk, dal and boiling). Stainless steel construction means no coating to wear off, and the set is marked induction compatible as well as dishwasher safe, which covers both gas and induction cooktops.

Five pieces at this price point usually means smaller or thinner-gauge vessels than premium tri-ply sets, so expectations should be set accordingly — this is a starter or secondary set rather than a replacement for heavy-gauge cookware.

Reasons to consider

• ₹899 for five pieces is a low entry cost for a full set of daily-use vessels.
• Stainless steel, not non-stick — nothing to flake or degrade, and it tolerates metal spoons.
• Induction and gas compatible, so it suits most kitchens.
• Dishwasher safe for easier cleanup.
• Sold by RetailEZ Pvt Ltd and shipped by Amazon, which keeps fulfilment and returns on Amazon's standard rails.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Low price for a five-piece set
• Confirmed ₹899 selling price and in-stock status
• Induction compatible, dishwasher safe
• Stainless steel has no coating to fail

Cons

• The 69% discount claim is unverified — no MRP was visible on the page
• Budget stainless steel is usually thin-gauge and can heat unevenly or stain over high flame
• Lifelong is a value brand, not a premium one; finish and rivet quality vary
• Delivery window shown (18–21 October) is not the fastest available

Buyer fit

A good fit for students, first kitchens, rental setups, or anyone who needs a cheap full set of daily-use vessels in one shot. Also reasonable as a backup or spare set. Skip it if you cook daily at high heat and want tri-ply or heavy-base cookware — spending more on a thicker kadhai or pressure-cooker-grade steel will serve you better long term.

Final verdict

At ₹899 confirmed on the product page, this is a solid value buy for a basic five-piece stainless set. The headline "69% off" should not be taken at face value since the MRP wasn't visible, but the absolute price is what matters here — and ₹899 for five vessels is hard to argue with. Worth buying if you need starter cookware; not worth buying just because of the advertised percentage.
