HP Omnipad 12 Detachable-Keyboard Tablet on Amazon: Advertised at ₹35,490 with SBI Credit Card Offer

At a glance

A deal alert advertises the HP Omnipad 12 — a 12-inch touchscreen tablet with a detachable keyboard — at an effective ₹35,490 after an ₹11,000 SBI credit card discount. The Amazon listing is live and in stock, but the merchant page shows a current selling price of ₹46,490. The advertised ₹35,490 figure is not confirmed on the page we could read; it likely depends on a card-specific discount that applies at checkout. Treat the headline price as advertised, not verified.

Product overview

The HP Omnipad 12 is a large-screen tablet positioned as a lightweight laptop alternative. Its standout feature is the bundled detachable keyboard, which turns the 12-inch 2K touchscreen into a basic productivity setup. The 90Hz refresh rate and 400-nit brightness are respectable for this price band, and WiFi 6E support is ahead of what many budget tablets offer. HP claims up to 18 hours of battery life, and the quad-speaker DTS-tuned setup targets media consumption.

On the Amazon listing, the unit is sold by Clicktech Retail Private Ltd and fulfilled by Amazon, which generally means smoother delivery and returns. An optional Acko extended warranty is offered at checkout for ₹799.

Reasons to consider

• The detachable keyboard is included rather than sold separately, which is unusual at this price point.
• A 12-inch 2K 90Hz panel is a strong spec for reading, streaming and split-screen work.
• If the SBI credit card offer applies to your account, an effective ₹35,490 is a meaningful reduction from the ₹46,490 list price.
• Amazon fulfilment and a named seller add some purchase protection.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Keyboard bundled in the box
• High-resolution 90Hz display with decent brightness
• Modern connectivity (WiFi 6E) and quad speakers
• In stock with fast delivery options

Cons

• The ₹35,490 advertised price was not visible on the product page; the observed selling price is ₹46,490
• The ₹11,000 discount depends on holding and paying with an SBI credit card, and offer terms were not independently confirmed
• 8GB/128GB is modest for heavy multitasking; no cellular variant mentioned
• Battery and speaker claims are manufacturer figures, not tested here

Buyer fit

This suits buyers who want a big-screen tablet for media, browsing and light productivity and who already hold an SBI credit card — the deal only makes sense at the advertised price if that card discount actually applies to your account. Without the card offer, ₹46,490 is a more ordinary price for this spec, and competing tablets-plus-keyboard options deserve a comparison.

Final verdict

The product and the listing are real and in stock, but the headline ₹35,490 price is an advertised figure that hinges on an unconfirmed SBI credit card discount. If you have an eligible SBI card, check the offer banner on the product page and the discounted total at checkout before paying — if the effective price lands near ₹35,490 this is a good deal for a 12-inch 2K tablet with a keyboard included. At ₹46,490 without the discount, it is worth comparing rivals first.
